Weighing scale setup guide: connect your label scale to PaakiShop
For Black Copper RLS1000 and other label scales. The scale and the computer are not connected by a cable — the scale prints a sticker, your barcode scanner reads it, and PaakiShop understands the item and the weight inside it.
ترازو اسٹیکر چھاپتا ہے، اسکینر پڑھتا ہے، اور PaakiShop چیز اور وزن خود بل میں ڈال دیتا ہے۔
needed ✕
A label scale (Black Copper RLS1000 or similar), any barcode scanner plugged into the computer, and PaakiShop. The scanner types the label number into PaakiShop like a keyboard.
ترازو کو کمپیوٹر سے تار جوڑنے کی ضرورت نہیں — صرف عام بارکوڈ اسکینر چاہیے۔
On the scale, create each weighed item with an item number (PLU), its name and price per kg — e.g. PLU 123 · Potato · Rs 50/kg. Exact keys differ by model: see the scale manual or ask your dealer.

Choose EAN-13, flag 20, and the layout flag + 5-digit item number + 5-digit weight. This is the default on most label scales. If your scale prints the price instead of the weight, switch PaakiShop to "Total price" in Settings.
Open the item in PaakiShop and set its Barcode to the scale's item number (123). Sell it in kg with the price per kg. Do this once for every weighed item.
PaakiShop میں آلو کے بارکوڈ کی جگہ وہی نمبر 123 لکھیں

Most dealers set this in a few minutes. Copy it and send it on WhatsApp.
If something is wrong
| What you see | Why | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| "Item code 123 not found" | No PaakiShop item has Barcode 123. | Open the item and set its Barcode to the number shown. |
| "Not a scale label" | The label does not start with 20–29, or a digit was mis-read. | Check the scale's flag/prefix and barcode layout. Re-scan a clean label. |
| Weight is 10× too big or small | The scale writes weight in different units. | Settings → Weighing Scale → Weight unit (grams / 10 g / 100 g / kg). |
| Quantity looks like a price (e.g. 32.5 kg) | The scale prints the total price, not the weight. | Settings → Weighing Scale → "The label contains: Total price". |
| Item code has 4 or 6 digits | Your scale uses a different item-code length. | Settings → Weighing Scale → Item code (PLU) digits. |
| Nothing happens when scanning | The cursor is not in the scan box, or the scanner does not send Enter. | Click the POS search or the line Scan box first. Most scanners send Enter by default. |
