The Product Delivery Problem — Solved

Delivery Management Software for Pakistani Business

A sale is not finished when the bill is printed. It is finished when the goods reach the customer and the money reaches you. PaakiShop tracks that whole journey — whether you send your own rider, book a courier, or load a truck with a builty.

The Real Problem

What actually goes wrong after the bill is made

Almost every shop in Pakistan bills well. The mess starts after the goods leave the counter. These are the five questions nobody can answer from a register or a WhatsApp group.

”میرا مال کہاں ہے؟“

Nobody knows where the goods are

The customer phones and asks. Staff check the invoice book, then call the rider, then call the courier office. Ten minutes later the answer is still a guess.

”رائیڈر کا حساب پورا نہیں ہوا“

The rider's cash never ties up

A delivery boy takes out eight parcels and brings back cash for six. Which two, how much each, and is it in the books? By evening nobody can reconstruct it.

”سی این نمبر کاپی میں لکھا تھا“

Tracking numbers live in a notebook

The courier's CN number is written on a slip or a diary page. When the parcel is lost, there is no way to connect it back to the invoice or the customer.

”ڈیلیوری کا کوئی ثبوت نہیں“

No proof the goods were received

The customer says the order never came. You believe your rider. Without a signed slip, a builty or a photo, the argument ends in a discount.

”کیش آیا، لیکن کھاتے میں نہیں چڑھا“

Cash collected, ledger untouched

Money comes back with the rider but the receipt is entered days later, or never. The customer's balance shows udhaar that was already paid.

”فیل ڈیلیوری بھول گئی“

Failed deliveries are forgotten

A parcel that could not be delivered goes back into the godown and out of everyone's mind — until stock, accounts and the customer all disagree.

Before & After

The same working day, two different shops

Without delivery tracking

Register, diary and phone calls
  • Pending deliveries counted by flipping through the invoice book
  • Rider cash reconciled from memory at closing time
  • Courier CN numbers on loose slips
  • Customers phone the shop for updates all day
  • Payment receipts entered days after the cash arrived
  • Disputes settled with a discount because there is no proof

With PaakiShop Deliveries

One register, one truth
  • Pending list is the screen's default view — no counting
  • Every rupee a rider collects is receipted the moment it is marked delivered
  • CN number saved on the invoice and searchable
  • Customers get WhatsApp updates without anyone typing
  • Ledger, invoice balance and trial balance move together
  • Gate pass, builty and delivery photo attached to the sale
One Screen, Three Ways

However your goods move, it is one register

Most Pakistani businesses do not use one delivery method — they use whichever suits the order. PaakiShop does not force you to choose. Press Delivery on any invoice and pick how this one is going.

Your Own Rider

Local delivery boys collecting cash

  • Assign a rider, or assign one later
  • Cash to collect defaults to what the invoice still owes
  • Rider's cash-in-hand tracked against a limit
  • Failed attempts counted with a reason
  • Delivery success rate per rider

Courier Company

Leopards, TCS and other services

  • CN / tracking number saved on the invoice
  • Search any delivery by its tracking number
  • Customer gets the CN number on WhatsApp
  • COD amount recorded for later remittance
  • Multiple courier services side by side

Transport & Builty

Truck loads for wholesale consignments

  • Transport company and truck details recorded
  • Links to the gate pass already made for the invoice
  • Builty (freight receipt) kept as the delivery proof
  • One gate pass per warehouse the goods left from
  • Printable dispatch slip for the driver
Start To Finish

From bill to doorstep in five steps

1

Make the sale as usual

Bill the customer from POS or the invoice screen. Add the delivery charge on the invoice if you are charging for it — it posts to shipping income on its own.

2

Press Delivery

One button on the invoice. Choose rider, courier or transport — the form then asks only for what that method needs. The delivery address and phone come from the customer file.

3

Dispatch it

The goods leave, the status moves to dispatched, and the customer is told on WhatsApp — with the courier's tracking number when there is one.

4

Out for delivery

The customer gets the rider's name, number and the exact amount to keep ready. Fewer phone calls to your shop, fewer refused parcels.

5

Delivered — and booked

Mark it delivered and enter the cash collected. PaakiShop receipts it against the invoice, posts the journal, updates the customer's balance and adds it to the rider's cash in hand. Nothing is typed twice.

Where Most Software Stops

The cash your rider brings back lands in your accounts

Delivery apps tell you a parcel was delivered. An accounting system needs to know the money arrived. PaakiShop is both, so marking a delivery delivered is also a receipt.

Journal posted automatically — Rider collected Rs 18,500
Account Debit Credit
1000 Cash in Hand 18,500.00
1100 Accounts Receivable — Ahmed Traders 18,500.00
Balanced 18,500.00 18,500.00
Posted once and only once — a second status change can never double-count the cash.

A real payment, not a note

The receipt appears in Payments Received, on the customer's ledger, and in the day's cash book.

Invoice balance updates itself

Paid, partially paid or still owing — the invoice status follows the cash, so udhaar reports stay honest.

Rider cash in hand

You can see how much money each rider is holding right now, against the limit you set for them.

Overpayment refused

If a rider hands back more than the invoice owed, the extra is flagged instead of being booked as revenue.

Nothing Slips Through

Every delivery has one honest status

A delivery can only move the way real life moves. It cannot jump from returned back to pending, and a delivered order cannot quietly be edited away. Every change is stamped with who did it and when.

Questions & Answers

Frequently Asked Questions

The delivery register opens on Pending by default. Every sale that has left your shop but has not been confirmed delivered sits in that one list — with the customer, the city, the rider or courier carrying it, and the cash still to collect. No counting, no flipping through a register.

Yes. Marking a delivery delivered creates a real payment receipt against that invoice and posts a balanced double-entry journal. The invoice balance, the customer's ledger and the trial balance all update together. The receipt is capped at what the invoice actually owed, and it can never post twice.

Yes — and transport with a builty as well. Each delivery carries its own mode, so a city order can go with your delivery boy, an out-of-city parcel with Leopards or TCS, and a truck load by transport. All three appear in the same register, so you never check three different places to answer one question.

PaakiShop sends a WhatsApp message when the order is dispatched, when it goes out for delivery, and when it is delivered. Courier orders carry the tracking number; rider orders carry the rider's name, phone and the exact amount to keep ready. Nobody on your staff has to type these.

The delivery is marked failed with a reason — customer not available, refused, wrong address — and the attempt is counted. The customer is told another attempt is coming. Once the attempts run out you mark the consignment returned, so a failed delivery never quietly disappears from the books.

No. Delivery management is part of your PaakiShop subscription. It runs in the browser on any laptop, tablet or phone, and it uses the invoices, customers, warehouses and chart of accounts you already have. There is nothing new to set up except your riders.
